Bealeton Baptist Church traces its founding to 1832 when a group looking for a place to worship and change the world met at a small meeting house on Liberty Hill. Today we average around 150 on Sunday morning and Bible Study attendance and have a genuine focus on reaching out to our community with the love of Jesus.
Meet Our Staff
Pastor Bob joined BBC in the fall of 2003 following a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force and corporate America. With over 30 years of ministry experience with local churches and nonprofits, he has faithfully served in a variety of roles—teaching, preaching, and supporting church ministries of all kinds.
He is married to Misty, and they have two grown children, Melody and Stephen. Pastor Bob enjoys woodworking, playing golf with Misty, and mentoring young men in godly leadership.
Chris came to Bealeton Baptist Church in January of 2025. He is married to Robin, and have 5 children Brian (wife Mattea), Andrew, Alexandra, Samuel and Daniel.
Chris loves to help people in their walk with God and is passionate about seeing people grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Whether teaching, discipling or preaching sermons, he loves to see God’s word impact and transform.
Misty and Bob joined at Bealeton Baptist in May of 2004 along with their two kids, who at the time were 7mos and 8 yrs old. She has always loved music and learned how to do harmony in the back seat on family road trips.
Misty grew up in a Christian home where her dad surrendered to preach and she and her mom and sister were saved at Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas. She felt the call of God in her life with missions and music.
Misty went to school for music and to seminary to learn more about the word of God and ministry especially with teens. She has been doing ministry since before she was 18 and has faithfully served beside Bob at Bealeton Baptist Church. Her deepest desire is to inspire others to sing with their whole heart to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ — to the glory of our Father and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
