Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements for having a wedding at the church?

The first step is to to coordinate the date with the church wedding coordinator, Janet Hall (540-439-8570).  The only requirement for using the church is that the ceremony is a Christian wedding administered by a member of the clergy.   There is a fee for non-church members to use the facility.

If you want Pastor Bob to conduct the wedding, the couple will need to meet with him to discuss the arrangements.  Pastor Bob does require pre-marital counseling either through BBC or another pastor.   There are other aspects that he will talk about with the couple as well.  Based on that discussion he will determine if it would be appropriate for him to marry the couple or if it would be in the couples interest to use another pastor.

What are the requirements for having a funeral or memorial service at the church?

Because of the sensitivity of events surrounding a funeral or memorial service, Bealeton Baptist Church will make every effort to meet the needs of the bereaved.  Requestors should understand that although BBC will make every effort to comfort the hurting and brokenhearted, all ceremonies will be in line with Biblical standards.
